Cross-cultural Persian/Irish quartet Nava perform their only Dublin date as part of their first nationwide Irish tour. The performance will feature music from their debut album ‘Tapestry’ as well as a selection of new music.
Navá is a group of young musicians exploring the relationship between the ancient musical cultures of Ireland and Persia. It is comprised of folk/bluegrass musicians Paddy Kiernan and Niall Hughes, and Iranian born brothers Shahab and Shayan Coohe. Since forming in early 2016 they have performed extensively around Ireland and the UK including recent concerts at Doolin Folk Festival, Electric Picnic and Celtic Connections Festival.
