In the lead-up to the recording of her debut full- length album, Berlin-based jazz and soul singer/songwriter Michelle Daly, returns to her hometown for the launch of the album’s crowdfunding campaign.
Described by the Guardian as: “honey-toned “, Daly’s vocals range from the soulful to the operatic. Also a regular on the opera stage, Michelle recently played the female lead in the world Premier of Yasutaki Inamori’s Wir Aus Glas for Deutsche Oper Berlin. Joined by Mike Parle on guitar, Derek Whyte on Double Bass and Conor Murray on drums, Daly will deliver songs from the upcoming album as well as material from her 2014 EP Melodramas as well as a selection of standards and covers.
