Internet cutie GREG TISDALL brings you an unmissable night of live music to get you in the Christmas spirit.
We’re back baby! A year on from what turned out to be perhaps our most special show, we’re back for yet another Christmas special. We promise an even crazier set than ever before, plenty of new songs and an amazing cast of special guests. And yes, I am actually releasing a new song in early January. For real, for real this time! I am very proud of our line up showcasing a wide range of the talent this city has to offer.
Starting the night off is newcomers Sink. Fronted by Rudy Kelly who has assisted us on vocals at quite a few of our own shows. Mixing post-punk and bedroom pop influences, Sink promise to start things off on an enthusiastic note.
Next up we have Rónán Connolly’s recently renamed project, Big Sleep. Sporting indie rock, funk and synth wave influences, Big Sleep are fresh off slots at Trinity Ball and Electric Picnic and are quickly gaining pace on the Dublin indie scene. With some sweet sweet guitar solos and soulful original tunes, Big Sleep are not to be missed.
The last of our guests is the magnificent Local Boy! Co-founder of notable Dublin collective Burner Records, Local Boy has won over the hearts of many with his funky and lofi pop productions. With some exciting releases ahead in the future, Local Boy’s live set is not one to be missed.
GREG TISDALL himself will be hosting with an array of Christmas crackers joke and charm (ughh I never know whether I should talk in the 1st or 3rd person in these event descriptions). As well as serving up the grand finale with a typical lively and eventful live set armed once again with his full live band.
