Located at Portobello Harbour the venue is close to town, equipped with amazing sound and an extensive backline. The space is easily transformed to cater for intimate performances and lively events.

Capacity & Floor Plan

The space is ideally suited to parties of between 80 to 160 people.

The maximum capacity for a packed out standing show is 200, and for a fully seated gig the capacity is 100. We can also arrange a semi-seated layout for in-between numbers.

Three vaulted alcoves provide a large backstage area for performers and there is additional seating away from the stage in our sitting room.

We cater for a huge variety of acts; whether you’re performance is percussion-saoked and reverbed, delicate and acoustic, or anything in-between, we can cater the sound to suit your needs.

BelloBar is equipped with 8 adjustable LED lights and a lighting desk to set the right tone for your event.

Thanks to Musicmaker, BelloBar is kitted out with a fantastic back line; Two Orange Guitar Amps, an Ampeg Bass Amp and a Gretsch Drum Kit. Use of all equipment is included in the rental of the venue.

BelloBar has collaborated with Kaleidoscope Night, Ireland’s leading contemporary music showcase, to bring an acoustic piano to the venue.

The acoustic piano, can be rented for an additional fee. This covers the cost of having the piano professionally tuned on the day of your event.

We also have a Yamaha Electric keyboard available for use on request.

BelloBar has a fully licenced bar open till 12.30am Friday and Saturday and till 11.30pm Sunday through Thursday.

We carry a select range of craft beers that are changed seasonally, including beers from O’Haras, Brooklyn Brewery, Brew Dog, Bellerose and Dungarvan Brewing Company.
