Jingle Smells

Friday 8th December // 8pm // Tickets €7

December 8th sees That Snaake, Shrug Life, Caramel Churro and Girlfriend take on Bello Bar in what is set to be the ultimate scroogefest of 2017.

That Snaake are a three piece that make loud punk infused tunes. They champion dark lyrics and heavy riffs that are bound to make you spill your egg nog all over the place.

Shrug Life will be joining us for their first gig, since launching their debut album ‘¯\_(ツ)_/¯’ Described by The Irish Times as “just about landing on the right side of nudge-nudge-wink-wink cleverness”, their set is bound to make the mince pies taste that little bit sweeter.

Girlfriend advise you to listen to their music whilst “casting spells on enemies/friends/local fiends/lovers”, which is an excellent pre empt to their dark, melodic pop punk reminiscent tunes. Check out their excellent e.p ‘3AM Rituals’ whilst feasting on a big ol Christmas pudding.

Caramel Churro are group of local lofi bandits inspired by the likes of The Pastels and Country Teasers. Expect some surprises from their set (and maybe even a candy cane or two).

This gig is a Cake Knife Happening. Cake Knife are an upcoming art & music collective with the plan to utilize the inspirational and the strange to resurrect the dormant Dublin scene. This is their first event.
